POLISH DOCUMENTARIES, SHORTS AND ANIMATIONS IN NICE
At the forthcoming short film festival “Un Festival c’est trop court!” in Nice, Poland will be the guest of honour. Documentary films, animations, as well as short feature-films will be shown. Additionally, the film “Mother” by Jakub Piątek will fight for the main prize in the international competition.
10th edition of the short film festival “Un Festival c’est trop court!” will take place in Nice from 20 to 25 April. One of the parts of this year’s programme is the section “Gros plan sur la Pologne” dedicated to Polish cinematography. The films are divided according to three thematic categories:- The best Polish animations (among others, “Tango” by Zbigniew Rybczyński, “A Gentle Spirit” by Piotr Dumała, “Fallen Art” by Tomasz Bagiński, “Ichtys” by Marek Skrobecki)
- Short Films by the Great Pole – Roman Polański (among others, “Murder”, “Two Men and a Wardrobe”, “The Lamp”, “When Angels Fall”, “Mammals”)
- Polish documentary films

What is more, the documentary “Mother” by Jakub Piątek has been qualified to the international competition, while in the non-competing programme, two films will be shown: “Street feeling” by Kristoffer Karlson Rus (in the degree works of the film schools’ students section) as well as “Over the Fence” by Marcin Sauter (in the section “Crossing the frontiers”)
