THE LIST OF POLISH FILMS SELECTED FOR THE 50TH KRAKOW FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCED!

The selectors of the 50th Krakow Film Festival, one of the oldest European film events, have ended their work and now we know the list of films qualified for the competitions of the anniversary 50th edition of the Festival, which will take place from 31st May to 6th June.

89 documentaries, animations and feature films will take part in three competitions. They will compete for the Golden Horn (international documentary competition), for the Golden Dragon (International Competition) and for the Golden Hobby-Horse (National Competition). The competing films were selected from among 2000 entries, which came to the organizers and from among the films noticed at international festivals. The 11-person Selection Committee, divided into three groups, selected the films, working under the supervision of Krzysztof Gierat, who watches over the festival’s entirety.

Krakow Film Festival will take place from 31st May to 6th June. The media and branch accreditations are already being issued; tickets at the reduced prices are available until 30th April. The deadline for application is 15th May.

For the audience, there are carnets at reduced prices, until 10th May they can be booked on the Festival’s website (full-price: 100 zloty, discounted one: 50 zloty).
