JUSTYNA RUTKOWSKA SELECTED FOR EMERGING PRODUCERS 2027
Justyna Rutkowska of Vision House Productions will represent Poland in the prestigious international Emerging Producers programme. She is among just 18 film producers selected for the 2027 edition of the initiative, which supports the professional development of documentary producers, helping them build international connections and develop future co-productions.
Emerging Producers is one of Ji.hlava’s flagship industry initiatives and a distinctive European training, networking and promotional programme dedicated to documentary film producers. Each year, the organisers select 17 producers from across Europe and one representative from a guest country. For the 2027 edition, the guest country is Japan, represented by producer Kyoko Takenaka.
Poland’s representative, Justyna Rutkowska, is a producer with over 20 years of experience and co-founder of the Warsaw-based production company Vision House Productions. Her credits include the documentary “Double Trouble”, which has screened at international film festivals, including Visions du Réel and CPH. She is currently also working on a documentary portrait of filmmaker Agnieszka Holland.
Launched in 2011, Emerging Producers has built a network of more than 200 alumni from the film industry. Many have gone on to establish successful international careers, developing projects across borders and receiving recognition at major film festivals worldwide. At its heart, the initiative focuses on fostering lasting professional relationships that can lead to new projects and international collaborations.
More information about the programme is available on the official Emerging Producers website.
