PAWEŁ FERDEK’S “THE GAP” IS THE ONLY POLISH PROJECT SELECTED FOR DOK CO-PRO MARKET
“The Gap”, directed by Paweł Ferdek, is the only Polish project selected for this year’s DOK Co-Pro Market. Its participation follows the DOK Leipzig Award received during this year’s KFF Industry as part of the Docs to Start pitching event, organised in collaboration with DOC LAB POLAND. DOK Co-Pro Market will take place in Leipzig on October 26 and 27, 2026.
DOK Co-Pro Market is an industry event dedicated to financing, co-production and building international professional networks. It connects the teams behind selected projects with potential partners in co-production, financing, sales and distribution, while providing access to both the German and international markets.
“The Gap” by Paweł Ferdek, produced by Marchello Production and Inbornmedia, is among the 35 international projects selected for this year’s DOK Co-Pro Market. The line-up includes documentary projects, animated documentaries and, new in 2026, feature animation projects.
“The Gap” secured its place at the market as a direct result of an award received during this year’s KFF Industry. At Docs to Start, organised in collaboration with DOC LAB POLAND, the project received the DOK Leipzig Award, which came with an invitation to participate in the Co-Pro Meetings.
