"MY COUNTRY SO BEAUTIFUL" WINS IN BRAZIL

Grzegorz Paprzycki's short documentary won the Brazilian international competition É Tudo Verdade / It's All True.

É Tudo Verdade / It's All True is one of the largest international documentary film festivals in South America. The first edition took place in 1996, and its originator was the film critic Amit Labaki. The festival is held annually in two Brazilian cities - Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Grzegorz Paprzycki's film was recognized as the best international short documentary of the festival. The ironic title "My Country So Beautiful" refers to the sharpening of radical moods in Poland in the last few years. According to the initial inscription, it is "non-chronological documentation of selected social events". The director juxtaposes marches, demonstrations and street riots, as well as appearances by anti-fascist organizations.
