“GIRL'S STORIES” AT DOK CO-PRO MARKET

The documentary project “Girl's Stories” by Aga Borzym will be presented as part of a pitching session at DOK Co-Pro Market. It's the award for winning the Docs to Start pitching which was held during the 61st Krakow Film Festival.

This year, the Dok Leipzig festival is scheduled for 25-31 October. It is one of the largest and most significant documentary film festivals in Europe. Like many similar events, it offers a wide selection of meetings, workshops, and conferences prepared with documentary professionals in mind. The organisers are closely monitoring the current pandemic situation and have decided to move the DOK Co-Pro Market online at this stage already.

DOK Co-Pro Market is a 2-day session of meetings aimed at encouraging producers to establish cooperation, foster international co-productions, and help them obtain funding. In addition to one-on-one meetings, the Co-Pro Market's program also includes debates and case studies on the opportunities and challenges involved with the international co-production market.

The Polish project “Girl's Stories” by Aga Borzym is a coming-of-age story about two teenagers – 11year-old Jagoda and 13-year-old Zuzia. We watch the girls grow up and experience their ups and downs. The film is produced by Pinot Films.
