Cuske’s film at PRIX ITALIA
"III. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy” – the third episode of the cycle “Decalogue after Decalogue” – is among the films qualified for the competition of the oldest world television production festival “Prix Italia”, which takes place this year in Turin.
Maciej Cuske’s film follows the family preparations for upcoming First Communion of Staś. During the preparations, inter-generational differences in outlook come to the surface and lead to the dialogue about what is most important in life. The director turned the camera on his own family and tried to show ordinary life and that fact that, despite disorder, chaos and disagreements, it has sense.
