POLISH DOCUMENTARY FILMS AT HOT DOCS

The program of one of the major documentary film festivals has just been announced. Hot Docs, which begins at the end of April, is going to feature three Polish documentaries – “Between Us” by Dorota Proba, “Tell Me More” by Martyna Peszko, and “High Maintenance” by Barak Heymann.

First held in 1993, the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival is the largest documentary film festival on the American continent. It takes place every spring, and film screenings are accompanied by international film fairs and industry conferences. This year's edition runs from April 29th to May 9th 

and three Polish productions have been invited. Martyna Peszko's “Tell Me More” will compete for the award for best short film. The World Showcase section includes the film "Between Us" by Dorota Proba, while the Artscapes program – showcasing films about creativity in visual arts – features the Polish-Israeli co-production “High Maintenance” by Barak Heymann.
