POLISH DOCUMENTARIES AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN JANUARY

This is just the beginning of the year, and several Polish documentaries already have the opportunity to conquer one of the international film festivals. Check out which Polish films are going to be shown in France, Norway, and Italy.

The short documentary by Weronika Jurkiewicz is the first to be screened in 2021. “The Vibrant Village” will be presented to viewers of the 33rd edition of the Norwegian Minimalen Short Film Festival.

A sizeable representation of Polish documentaries can also be found in the FIPA DOC festival program. Andrzej Cichocki's “A Little Bit of Paradise”, Katarzyna Warzecha's “We Have One Heart” and Tomasz Wolski's “An Ordinary Country” are all going to compete at the French event. In turn, the non-competitive segment will feature screenings of “Festival” by Tomasz Wolski and Anna Gawlita as well as “The Whale From Lorino” by Maciej Cuske.

At the end of the month, Tomasz Wolski's latest film will visit Italy. “An Ordinary Country” is going to represent Poland at the Trieste Film Festival.
