POLISH-PALESTINIAN PROJECT AWARDED AT IDFA FORUM
Mohammed Almughanni is preparing his next film. The project Son of Streets has just been awarded the IDFA Forum Award for Best Pitch.
The IDFA Forum was held this year on 12–15 November as part of the IDFA International Documentary Film Festival in Amsterdam. The Forum is looking forward to artistic, innovative documentary projects with international potential. IDFA Forum is the perfect place for producers looking for partners to co-finance or co-produce a film, as well as distributors and sales agents.
Son of Streets is a project that aims to tell the story of a stateless child in a refugee camp in Beirut. Against all odds, the boy embarks on a daring journey in search of a better future.
The award was received on behalf of the director by his co-producer, Glib Lukianets from Gogol Film.
