DOC NYC TO FEATURE THREE POLISH DOCUMENTARIES

One of the most important American festivals dedicated to documentary cinema has just announced its program. The invited titles include three Polish co-productions: Apolonia, Apolonia by Lea Glob, In the Rearview by Maciej Hamela, and Polish Prayers by Hanna Nobis.

DOC NYC is a New York-based festival for documentary film enthusiasts, co-organised by Thom Powers and Raphaela Neihausen. It's one of the largest and most important events of its kind in the world, presenting the most significant and interesting new productions from all over the world. Every year the program features over 300 films and includes numerous accompanying events that attract both special guests and a huge audience wanting great films.

Two Polish co-productions have been included in the prestigious Winner’s Circle section, which presents award-winning documentaries – Apolonia, Apolonia by Lea Glob and In the Rearview by Maciej Hamela. Meanwhile, Polish Prayers by Hanna Nobis has been invited to the Investigations section.
