The project also received the Best Documentary Award at the 5th Aryan Children's Film Festival in Jaipur, India, and the Special Award at the Chinh Festival – also in India.

Maharaja's Children. Brave Bunch in India tells the extraordinary story of ten-year-old Wiesiek, one of a thousand Polish children who were rescued from the hell of World War II by an Indian maharaja. At Easter 1940, the boy, together with his mother and brother, is arrested by the NKVD and deported to Siberia. There he shares the same dramatic fate as tens of thousands of Polish exiles. Rescue comes from the least expected direction. This multi-media webdoc tells the true story of Wiesław Stypuła through comic panels, animations, and archival materials.
