POLISH PROJECT AT THE EURODOC 2020
We already know all documentary film projects, qualified for this year's edition of EURODOC. Among the selected 26 titles from 17 countries, there is also the Polish co-production "Grace."
The main aim of EURODOC is to search for the common ground for international co-operation in the production of documentary films. The implementation of this aim is facilitated by the professionals working on the workshops, who are actively involved in the production and financing of the documentary films. Among about 50 experts, who oversee the programme, there are both producers and distributors as well as scriptwriters, pitching and financing consultants, commissioning editors and lawyers.
"Grace" will tell the story of a teacher of the dance called chigonomai. The holy rite is danced by the selected virgins in order to appease the Mount Fiji. The protagonist, as Anna Fam mentions, is an model example of a contemporary heroine. The documentary film is a Polish-Finnish co-production. Eri Mizutani is responsible for directing the film, and its producer is Anna Fam.
