POLISH FILMS IN TURKEY
From October 25th to 28th a selection of Polish films will be presented in Istanbul in the "Poland Now" program, which includes feature films as well as documentaries and shorts.
In October Istanbul Modern Cinema will present the latest achievements of Polish cinema. Apart from the feature films that were awarded around the world, the program includes a documentary film "The Prince and the Dybbuk" by Elwira Niewiera and Piotr Rosołowski which received the Best Documentary Award at Venice Film Festival.
The "Poland Now" program will present a selection of Polish short films. The audience will have a chance to see "The Best Fireworks Ever" by Aleksandra Terpińska, "Close Ties" by Zofia Kowalewska, "Impossible Figures and Other Stories II" by Marta Pajek, "Foreign Body" by Marta Magnuska and "Polonaise" by Agnieszka Elbanowska.

Another film presented this month in Turkey is "The Idea Is Paramount. The Architectural Passions of Andrzej Wajda" by Jacek Link-Lenczowski. The documentary can be seen in the competition of the İstanbul International Architecture and Urban Films Festival.
