POLISH PROJECTS AT DOK CO-PRO MARKET

We know the list of projects invited to participate in DOK Co-pro Market at the festival DOK Leipzig. Among them, there are two Polish productions.

The two-day long meeting sessions DOK Leipzig Co-Pro Market are aimed at encouraging producers to build co-operation and to participate in international co-productions as well as to help them find the source of financing. Apart from one-to-one meetings, the schedule of the Co-Production Market includes also joint debates and case studies, dedicated to the opportunities and challenges related to the international co-production market.

The first of the qualified projects is "Ambulance Poland – Syria, " directed by Aleksander Zalewski, produced by Aksamit. The film's participation in the market in Leipzig is the DOC LAB POLAND award for the special mention in the pitching Docs to Start during the KFF Industry at the Krakow Film Festival. The second project participating in DOK Co-Pro Market is "Lesson of Love" by Małgorzata Goliszewska and Katarzyna Mateja, produced by Anna Stylińska. Its participation in the market, in turn, is the result of winning the award at the East Doc Platform in the Czech Republic.

This year, the festival DOK Leipzig starts on the 29th of October and lasts until the 4th of November. It is one of the largest and the most important documentary film festival in Europe, which, just like many other events of this kind, offers in its programme a wide variety of meetings, workshops and conferences prepared for the professionals of the documentary film industry.
