POLISH PRODUCTION AT IDFA

The next edition of IDFA starts in exactly one week. As usual, the program includes several Polish productions. The audience will get to see Tomasz Wolski's documentary 1970, Paweł Łoziński's The Balcony Movie, Kacper Lisowski's Judges Under Pressure, and Joanna Popińska's VR co-production The Choice.

The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) is among the largest and most important documentary festivals in the world. Every year it attracts over 280,000 visitors, including more than 3000 guests from the documentary industry, while the films presented at IDFA often become festival favourites later on. This year's edition will be held on 17–28 November.

The program features four Polish productions. The Choice, a Polish-Canadian production by Joanna Popińska, will be premiered during the section DocLab: Liminal Reality IDFA DocLab Competition for Immersive Non-Fiction. The Best of Fests segment is going to include the documentary 1970 by Tomasz Wolski, and in the Masters section the viewers will watch The Balcony Movie by Paweł Łoziński. The latest documentary by Kacper Lisowski is also going to have its premiere at the festival. His Judges Under Pressure has been included in the Frontlight section.
