“POSTCARDS FROM THE VERGE” TRIUMPHS IN TRENTO

Natalia Koniarz's film has won the Silver Gentian for best short film and the Amelia De Eccher Award at the Trento Film Festival.

The Trento Film Festival is the world's oldest festival dedicated to mountain and adventure films. It has been held in Trento since 1952 and is affiliated with the International Alliance for Mountain Film.

The winning Postcards from the Verge by Natalia Koniarz is a documentary set during the pandemic. COVID-19 leaves a couple of filmmakers stranded at the Bolivia-Chile border for a year and a half. This leads to the creation of a visual narrative about their journey of maturing and trying to stabilise their relationship amidst a world in crisis.
