“THE WAY” AWARDED AT SLOVAK FESTIVAL

The documentary short by Wojtek Kozakiewicz was noticed at the 30th International Festival of Mountain Films in Poprad, Slovakia.

Dating back 30 years, The International Festival of Mountain Films in Poprad is both a well-known and popular event and Slovakia's oldest film festival. As the name suggests, the event's program focuses on mountain themes. The audience can see great international film productions and participate in numerous accompanying events such as photo exhibitions, meetings with filmmakers and film protagonists.

This year, Wojtek Kozakiewicz's short documentary was screened at the festival. The Way was recognised for its excellent creativity.

Kraków's mountain climbing scene has always been full of people from the worlds of science, culture, and art. For many, sport was a window on the world. The invisible force that draws you into sports is like a drug. At times it all seems pointless, but without it everything else loses its sense too. Whether you're representing your country internationally, rock climbing, or just doing it to push your limits – it sets the rhythm of your life. Work and passion. Sports and art. Contradictions and contrasts that form a single personality. A black-and-white journey into the life of a man of many talents.
