Representatives of selected projects will take part in one-to-one meetings with decision-makers, as well as in pitch sessions. During pitch sessions, each project will be given 15 minutes – 7 minutes for its presentation and 8 minutes for Q&As. Best projects have the opportunity to receive financial prizes from sponsors for further production.

This year, three Polish projects were invited to participate in Sunny Side of the Doc. Konrad Szołajski will be presenting the documentary “Waitergate” as part of the Global Issues section. Russia is waging a hybrid war in Ukraine, the Polish government supports its attacked neighbour and, in the meantime, the country's ministers compromise themselves during wiretapped telephone conversations. A media scandal breaks out, which contributes to the change of power in Poland. The film is produced by ZK Studio.

In turn, the Wildlife segment will feature “Jungle Fever. The Race to Save Malaysia's Last Tigers” directed by Paolo Volponi. The director and biologist Marta were given a unique opportunity to observe the last living Malayan tigers up close. The documentary shows a group of people trying to protect these rare animals from poachers. The film is produced by the Clearwing Foundation for Biodiversity.

In the History section, Krzysztof Dzięciołowski will present his project about Jerzy Urban. “The Ultimate Joker” examines one of the most controversial figures on the Polish political scene.
