"MY 89 GENERATION" AWARDED AT COLUBMIA GORGE IFF

On August 16 ended the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival. "My 89 Generation" by Paweł Jóźwiak-Rodan was chosen the best feature-length documentary film.

Columbia Gorge International Film Festival started in 2008.  Several hundred films from around the world participated in this year's edition and were shown in Camas, Washougal and Vancouver.

The project "My 89 Generation" is a crowdsourcing documentary film, which consists of film material recorded by the protagonists themselves - young people born after 1989. From among several dozen hours of film material, the film-makers chose seven main protagonists, who experience their first love, betrayal, break-up and who yearn to fulfil their dreams. We get acquainted with the stories of Wojtek, Ela, Mikołaj, Martyna, Łukasz and Małgosia. These people are full of passion, try to make their dreams come true, want to love and share their love and affections, though they are not always successul.
