PAULINA SKIBIŃSKA WINS THE COMPETITION "TALENTY TRÓJKI" (TALENTS OF THE POLISH RADIO "TRÓJKA")
The finals of the sixth edition of the competition "Talenty Trójki" for young artists have already taken place. At the awards gala, the names of the winners in three categories were announced: Theatre, Film and Visual Arts.
In the category Film, the winner is Paulina Skibińska, director, the author of the documentary film "Object", which conquers international film festivals. Driving to the awards gala, I listened to the song "Wszystko się może zdarzyć" (Anything is possible). It is a good commentary of this situation. Thank you very much, said the young director.
Paulina Skibińska was born in 1987. A graduate of screenwriting at Lodz Film School, where she continues to study as a doctoral student. The author of scripts of short films, among others, Http:// (dir. B. Kruhlik, 2010), I nigdy nie wracać (dir. J. Szelc, 2011), Bajka dla dorosłych (dir. J. Smolarczyk, 2015), 48h TV (2012). Her script (working title: "Hairdresser") qualified for the MIDPOINT workshops. The documentary film "Object," shown in Krakow, was given the Jury's Special Mention at the Sundance Festival.
