INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE OF „FUCK FOR FOREST” IN ROTTERDAM

The new film of Michał Marczak „Fuck for Forest” will have its international premiere at International Film Festival Rotterdam that will be held from 23rd January to 3rd February.

„Fuck for Forest” is the title of Marczak’s documentary and, at the same time, the name of one of the most unconventional NGOs. Its credo is: “Sex can save the world”. FFF collects money for saving wildlife and nature by selling amateur home-made porn films online.  The film tells the story of a young Norwegian, Danny, who meets Fuck For Forest activists and, fascinated by their ideology, decides to join the group. That’s how their common path begins.

In Rotterdam „Fuck for Forest” will be screened in Bright Future section that promotes new talents. Only directors’ first or second films are shown in this section. The screening in Rotterdam will be the international premiere of the film that had its world premiere at 28th Warsaw Film Festival where it was awarded the prize for the Best Documentary Film.

„Fuck for Forest” was produced by Michał Marczak and Pokromski Studio and it is distributed by Against Gravity. The film is one of the few completed documentaries that were included in Docs to Go! section of 52nd Krakow Film Festival. This brand new feature of the festival’s programme presents Polish documentary films in post-production.

This year the International Film Festival Rotterdam will celebrate its 42nd edition. It is considered one of the most important film festivals in the world. Festival organizers aim to promote independent cinema as well as seek for new talents in the film world.
