Krakow Film Festival, Dragon Forum and European Documentary Network invite you to EDN SEMINAR ON DOCUMENTARY STORYTELLING DURING THE 52ND KRAKOW FILM FESTIVAL

The EDN Seminar on Documentary Storytelling is a one-day seminar addressing the key issues in constructing and shaping a documentary narrative. It touches upon key issues like character development, dramaturgy, style and ways of expression. The seminar is targeted to both newcomers and experienced professionals.  Using examples from recent well-known documentaries the EDN Seminar on Documentary Storytelling focuses on the key issues directors, producers and other professionals have to consider when constructing documentary narratives.  The aim of the EDN Seminar on Documentary Storytelling is to give participants a better understanding of the mechanisms used in documentary storytelling. Through theoretic models and concrete examples the seminar participants will gain a better understanding of how documentary stories are shaped and how filmmakers can construct the strongest possible stories depending on the specific subject matter they choose to work on.
