POLISH PROJECTS AT DOCS BARCELONA

Polish documentary film projects have been selected for the Public Pitch event at Docs Barcelona.

DocsBarcelona Festival, held in the second half of May, is accompanied by numerous events for industry professionals. One of them is a trade fair aimed at creators looking to source financing for their projects. You can submit films in development, pre-production, production, as well as ones ready for post-production but still in need of a significant financial contribution.

Only 10 projects qualified for the Public Pitch. Among them is Natalia Koniarz's project The World is (not) a Mine produced by Maciej Kubicki from Telemark and the Swiss film So Called Sisterhood produced by Hanna Nobis from First Hand Films.

In turn, there are two Polish projects among the 10 selected for Speed Meetings – Four Winters in Edificio Cuba by Aleksandra Maciuszek (produced by New Plot Films) and One For The Team by Katarzyna Wiśniewska and produced by Haka Films.

A list of all selected projects can be found here.
