"WIND. A DOCUMENTARY THIRLLER ”WITH ANOTHER AWARD

The Victoria TX Independent Film Festival is an American event dedicated to independent cinema. The program of the event includes both plots and documentaries, as well as American and international productions. It is extremely important for the organizers to maintain bonds between viewers and creators, and to create a community of good cinema enthusiasts.
This year, a documentary by Michał Bielawski was invited to the festival program. "Wind. A Documentary Thriller ” was recognized as the best documentary of this year's edition.
The protagonist of the awarded documentary is the halny wind - one of the most unpredictable forces in the Polish mountains. It appears cyclically every spring and autumn. You never know if and when it will turn into a destructive gale. Halny especially affects the inhabitants of Zakopane and the surrounding area, turning the picturesque mountain trails into a space of unbridled action of nature.
