POLISH DOCUMENTARY FILMS AT THE FIPADOC

We already know the whole programme of the French festival FIPADOC. There are five Polish documentary films in three competitions.

FIPADOC is an international documentary film festival held annually in Biarritz. Over six days the festival audience will have the opportunity to watch the most interesting documentary films from the last few months and will have the chance to meet the directors.

To the best international documentary film competition, the feature-length "The Wind. A Documentary Thriller" by Michał Bielawski is invited. In turn, the best short documentary film award may go to "The Tough" by Marcin Polar.

In the competition section New Talent, we will watch as many as three Polish documentary films. The following films all have a chance to win: "Dam" by Natalia Koniarz, "Halo Effect" by Patrycja Polkowska and the co-production "The Vibrant Village" by Weronika Jurkiewicz.

Out of the competition in the European Stories section the festival audience will have the opportunity to watch "Strip and War" by Andrei Kutsila.

This year's edition of the festival is held from the 21st to the 26th of January.
