The documentary film by Katarzyna Lesisz stole the hearts of the audience at the Central and Eastern European Film Festival CinEast in Luxembourg.

Every year, the Central and Eastern European Film Festival CinEast presents the latest and the most interesting films from 20 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.  Over 60 feature-length and about 40 short productions waited for the viewers of the 18-day festival. In addition to documentary, feature and animated films, in the programme you could also find concerts, meetings with invited guests, exhibitions and debates.

Traditionally, there was no lack of Polish short film productions at the festival. The audience had the opportunity to watch films such as  "Story" by Jola Bańkowska, "You Are Overreacting"  by Karina Paciorkowska, "The Hunt" by Mateusz Jarmulski, "Tremors" by Dawid Bodzak, "Loved Ones" by Zofia Kowalewska, "The Briefing" by Filip Drzewicki, "Connected" by Aleksandra Maciejczyk and the award-winning film by Katarzyna Lesisz.

The film "Dancing For You," appreciated by the audience, tells the story of the twelve-year-old Wiktor. The boy is a student of a prestigious ballet school. He is preparing for an event which has huge importance in the life of the school and which will determine whether he is promoted to the next grade. All of the teachers and the students' parents take part in this opportunity. Wiktor is accompanied by his grandmother, who is with him also during the rehearsals of the performance. However, Wiktor dreams of his father, who lives abroad, coming to see the play.

This year's edition of the festival took place from the 3rd to the 20th of October.
