TWO POLISH FILMS AWARDED AT CLERMONT-FERRAND

On Saturday the award ceremony of the International Short Film Festival took place in Clermont-Ferrand. Two awards went to Polish productions: ”Tremors” by Dawid Bodzak and ”Dust” by Jakub Radej.

Festival in Clermont Ferrand is one of world's leading short film festivals. The 40th edition of the festival took place February 2-10, 2017. This year three Polish films were invited to the international competition: ”Tremors” by Dawid Bodzak, ”Dust” by Jakub Radej and ”Jerry” by Roman Przylipiak. Two of them came back from the festival with an award.

”Tremors” by Dawid Bodzak received Grand Prix International, which is the main award of the international competition, whereas ”Dust” by Jakub Radej won the best documentary award in the Lab competition.

As every year the Krakow Film Foundation prepared for a film market organised with the festival a national stand POLISH SHORTS. The festival also hosted a special screening of the films from the Łódź Film School.
