POLISH REPRESENTATION IN VILNIUS

On October 13, started the 10th edition of the festival Inconvenient Films in Vilnius. In the programme, there are Polish documentary films.

This year, the tenth, anniversary edition of the festival is held. Since 2007, Inconvenient Films shows the most important documentary films from around the world in Lithuania. The festival's mission is to promote the subject matter related to human rights by showing and awarding socially engaged films.

This year, in the International Competition at the festival, the film "Alisa in Warland" by Alisa Kovalenko and Lubova Durakova is included. In the Panorama, the audience will see the documentary film "The Dybbuk. A Tale of Wandering Souls" by Krzysztof Kopczyński, whereas in the section "Like the others," "Casa Blanca" by Aleksandra Maciuszek will appear. In this section, there are also other Polish features: "Don Juan," which is a Swedish production, but it is directed by Jerzy Śladkowski, and the Polish-American co-production, "Shoulder the lion."

The jury of the international competition consists of Renata Santoro, Ehab Al Khatib, Pietra Brettkelly and Natalija Arlauskaitė, PhD, and Krzysztof Gierat, the director of Krakow Film Festival and the president of Krakow Film Foundation.
