"SOMETHING BETTER TO COME" NOMINATED FOR THE PRODUCERS GUILD OF AMERICA AWARDS

The Producers Guild of America (PGA) has announced the list of documentary films nominated for the Golden Laurel. Among the nominees, there is Hanna Polak and her film "Something better to come."

The award given by PGA is one of the most important American film awards, which often hints at who wins the Academy Award later on.  Five films are nominated for the award: "Amy,"
"The Hunting Ground," "The Look of Silence," "Meru," and "Something better to come."

The film by Hanna Polak won numerous awards at international festivals, among others, Jury's Special Award at IDFA in Amsterdam, Grand Prix at the Art Doc Fest in Moscow, Alpe Adria Cinema Award in Trieste, Special Mention at Zagreb Dox, Viktor at Dok.fest in Munich and the Audience Award in Parnu, Estonia.

On November 27, the film appears on the screens of Polish cinemas.

The winners of the PGA Awards will be announced on January 23, 2016.
