"OBJECT" WINS SPECIAL MENTION IN VILNIUS
The International Film Festival "Kino Pavasaris" in Vilnius ended on April 2. "Object" by Paulina Skibińska won the Special Mention in the short film competition.
31 films were invited to the short film competition at the Vilnius Film Festival, including 24 feature films, 3 documentary films and 4 animated films. The programme included films from Eastern and Central Europe. The jury, consisting of Christian Modersbach, the director of Nordic Film Festival in Lubeck, Carmen Gray, Kaan Müjdeci, Vincas Sruoginis and Guillaume de Seille, film producer, gave the special mention to Paulina Skibińska for her film "Object."
"Object" is a creative image of a rescue mission, taking place in the space of two worlds - on the ice desert and under water. The film is told from the point of view of the rescue team, of a diver entering the world under the ice, and of the ordinary people, awaiting on the shore.
