POLISH PRODUCERS ACCEPTED TO MATCH ME!
Three producers whose submissions were put forward by the Polish Film Institute: Magdalena Borowiec (SQUARE film studio), Marta Gmosińska (Lava Films), and Stanisław Zaborowski (Silver Frame) have been qualified to participate in the Match Me! program.. It will be held during the 74th Locarno Film Festival on 6-8 August. The Polish Film Institute is a partner of the event for the fourth time.
The program is dedicated to young producers who already have a project in development. They will get the opportunity to meet and work on a feature-length film project (live-action, documentary, animation, experimental film) still in development. It's also an opportunity to acquire co-production partners and sales agents.
This year's edition of Match Me! is divided into two stages. As part of the first one (2-4 August), selected producers will hold individual online meetings. Then (6-8 August), they will meet in Locarno. A total of 24 producers from nine countries – Estonia, the Philippines, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, and Italy have qualified for the program.
