During this year's edition of Porto Femme International Film Festival, a special program will be presented, in which the festival audience will see short films by Polish directors. The section was prepared by HER Docs Film Festival.

Porto Femme International Film Festival is a festival entirely devoted to directors' films and productions about women, supporting women's projects and initiatives. Apart from the screenings, an important element of the festival's program are various types of workshops and lectures.

HER Docs Film Festival is the first documentary film festival in Poland presenting the work of women and people identifying as women. HER Docs Film Festival is a space for the exchange of ideas and engaged discussion. Through screenings of inspiring films and accompanying events, the organizers want to raise topics important not only for women and people identifying as women, but above all for civil society.

The program of the section includes: "Fat Kathy" by Julia Pełka, "I'll Call You When I Get There" by Małgorzata Goliszewska, "You Are Overreacting" by Karina Paciorkowska, "Flightless" by Nadia Szymańska, "Connected" by Aleksandra Maciejczyk, "Shooting Stars" Magdy Jaroszewicz,"The Strike of Polish Women" by Kasia Prus,"The Vibrant Village" by Weronika Jurkiewicz.

The screening will take place on October 9 at 6:00 pm at Maus Hábitos. Małgosia Goliszewska will also be present at the show.
