Ida Haendel, This Is My Heritage

POLISH TITLE: Ida Haendel, wiem skąd jestem

Ida Haendel, a violinist of worldwide renown, in beautiful Polish, tells the story of her life that has always been linked with Poland, beginning with her birth. Although she has spent many years abroad, she feels extraordinary attachment to the country that, as she says, enabled her to achieve so much. The artist’s reminiscences are illustrated with photographs from her family album, archival films and contributions from her friends and other artists. The backdrop to this fascinating story is obviously the music performed by Haendel herself.
