POLISH ILLUSIONS
Darłowo is a typical seaside resort living from one season to another. But everyday lives of its inhabitants are not boring at all. A new director of the cultural centre is trying to do his best to provide an interesting cultural offer. Elderly Jan, alias ‘Luciano’, practices a slightly forgotten art of magic. Mark, a cowboy from Colorado, fascinated with military items, despite his sexist views, wins the hearts of women in the vicinity. Michał, alias ‘Mike’, accompanies Mark as his interpreter and hopes that one day he will succeed, too.

Ur. 1979 w Kopenhadze. Absolwent komunikacji i znawstwa kultur na Roskilde Universitetscenter (Dania) oraz kursu dokumentalnego Mistrzowskiej Szkoły Reżyserii Filmowej Andrzeja Wajdy (2005). Współpracownik Telewizji Kopenhaga. Autor filmów dokumentalnych produkcji duńskiej: "ABCinema" (2000), "Ernie, the hotdog man" (2001), "Pis og Pant" (2002), "Dokumenty" (2004), "Simonstilstand" (2005). "Pomorskie iluzje" to jego trzeci film.

Fotograf, reżyser i producent. Urodził się w 1972 roku w Kilonii (Niemcy). Studiował na Uniwersytecie Humboldta w Berlinie oraz na Communication Studies na Uniwersytecie Roskilde w Danii. W 2000 zadebiutował filmem "Ein verrissenes Dings". Wspólnie z Jacobem Dammasem założył firmę producencką „graniza” (2005).
