THE LITTLE TOWN OF KROKE

POLISH TITLE: MIASTECZKO KROKE

A story of the pre-war Krakow seen through the eyes of Jews. Two realities collide here – safe childhood of the 1920s is suddenly disturbed and turns into a hell of the holocaust. The film characters experienced an ordeal of war. After the war some of them left Poland and others returned to Krakow. All of them, however, are emotionally attached to the city of their childhood and reminisce about the world already forgotten. Unique archive materials from the interwar period, unpublished before.
