LOVE AND EMPTY WORDS

POLISH TITLE: MIŁOŚĆ I PUSTE SŁOWA

A double portrait of Adam and Wanda. Their feeling is tested by Alzheimer’s disease, which Wanda was diagnosed with five years ago. With time, her health condition makes it impossible to communicate using words. The relationship between the ill woman and her caring husband reveals a deeper dimension of their marriage. Mundane matters, such as everyday hygiene, doctor’s appointments, a walk or dinner together, are used to construct the image of the difficult everyday life of the married couple. Their days together are nothing like their life in the past. Not everyone could shoulder the burden they are both carrying.
