born in 1979. She stud­ied Theatre at the Jagi­el­lo­nian Uni­ver­sity in Krakow and com­pleted a doc­u­ment­ary film course at the Andrzej Wajda Mas­ter School of Film Dir­ect­ing. Her doc­u­ment­ary A Piece of Sum­mer (2010) was awar­ded the Grand Prix at the fest­ival in Clermont‑Ferrand, the Golden Dove at the DOK fest­ival in Leipzig and the White Cobra at the ‘Man in Danger’ media festival.
