„THE FOURTH MAN” AWARDED AT CURTOCIRCUITO

					On May 11th in Span­ish San­ti­ago de Com­pos­tella the win­ners of the 9th edi­tion of Cur­to­cir­cuito were announced. The only Pol­ish film in the com­pet­i­tion – a doc­u­ment­ary “The Fourth Man” dir­ec­ted by Krzysztof Kasior received one of the top festival’s awards.  (...)

LAST DAY FOR SUBMITTING PROJECTS TO DRAGON FORUM

					Only till tomor­row pro­jects of doc­u­ment­ary films can be sub­mit­ted to Dragon Forum 2012 Pitch­ing! The event will take place dur­ing the Krakow Film Fest­ival, from May, 30th till June, 3rd. Con­sid­er­ing the fact that the year 2012 is cel­eb­rated as the Chinese Year of Dragon and it will be the lucky, sev­enth edi­tion of the Pitch­ing, we expect it to be excep­tion­ally fruit­ful and successful! POLISH MOUNTAIN DOCUMENTARIES AWARDED IN SLOVENIA

					Last Fri­day the sixth edi­tion of the Moun­tain Film Fest­ival Domžale in Slov­e­nia reached its end. Two Pol­ish films were lis­ted among the laur­eates. “The Art of Free­dom” by Wojtek Słota and Marek Kłosow­icz and “Declar­a­tion of Immor­tal­ity” by Mar­cin Kosz­a­łka scored two of the main festival’s awards. 					We are open­ing the call for the pitch­ing of doc­u­ment­ary film pro­jects, which will be held from 30 May till 3 June dur­ing the 52nd Krakow Film Fest­ival. 					Tomor­row in the even­ing the fourth edi­tion of Dutch short film fest­ival GO SHORT will kick off. This year proved extremely for­tu­nate for Pol­ish films as eight titles were selec­ted to the festival’s com­pet­i­tion. CALL FOR ENTRIES TO VISEGRAD SHORTS ON TOUR 2012

					Visegrad Shorts on Tour opens the call for short films for the first edi­tion of the trav­el­ling film fest­ival devoted exclus­ively to films pro­duced in Visegrad coun­tries. The author of the best film will receive 1000 euros and among other final­ists will travel to four Visegrad coun­tries present­ing his film on the fest­ival tour. „DECLARATION OF IMMORTALITY” PROVES THE BEST ROCK CLIMBING FILM OF VIMFF

					On 18th Feb­ru­ary the 15th edi­tion of Van­couver Inter­na­tional Moun­tain Film Fest­ival (VIMFF) came to an end. The only Pol­ish film in the com­pet­i­tion – “Declar­a­tion of immor­tal­ity” by Mar­cin Kosz­a­łka was awar­ded one of the main festival’s awards.  (...)

POLISH FILMS AT AMERICAN SXSW

					Three Pol­ish films were selec­ted for this year’s pro­gramme of the Amer­ican South by South­w­est Music and Film Fest­ival. The fest­ival, that is one of the biggest and most import­ant music fest­ivals in US, apart from the abund­ant pro­gramme of music events every year hosts an impress­ive film selec­tion. Dur­ing nine SXSW festival’s days 130 films pro­duced all over the world will be screened in Texas.  (...)
