Doc Alli­ance is an enter­prise which came into being thanks to the com­mon efforts of the five key European doc­u­ment­ary film fest­ivals: CPH:DOX, Copen­ha­gen Inter­na­tional Doc­u­ment­ary Film Fest­ival, DOK Lep­izig, Inter­na­tional Leipzig Fest­ival for Doc­u­ment­ary and Anim­ated Film, Jih­lava Inter­na­tional Doc­u­ment­ary Film Fest­ival, Plan­ete Doc Review, Warsz­awa and Vis­ions du Réel Inter­na­tional Film Fest­ival, Nyon. Nyon. Doc Alli­ance aims to sup­port diverse genres of doc­u­ment­ary film, as well as to con­vince the audi­ence how many fas­cin­at­ing, stir­ring and edy­f­ing aspects are included in cinéma du réel, where the real­ity tran­scends fic­tion and becomes a great spec­tacle.
