POLISH DOCUMENTARIES AT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVALS IN JULY

This year's festival season will be drastically different from last year. The pandemic did not leave us, but the organizers of the film events did not say the last word either. Many events have been moved to another date, but many festivals will take place now, only in the online or hybrid version. Check out which of the July film festivals will showcase Polish documentaries.

A large representation of Polish documentaries can be seen during the 4th edition of Cheap Cuts Documentary Film Festival. The British festival began in late June in the online version. The competition included "The Sisters" by Michał Hytros, "The Tough" by Marcin Polar, "Guest" by Sebastian Weber, "Dam" by Natalia Koniarz and "Love 404" by Agata Baumgart. The last title will be presented in July at the German Shorts on Wheels / Short Film Festival Cologne.

Two Italian festivals this month will also showcase our documentaries. At Seeyousound International Music Film Festival, "Horse Riders" by Anna Gawlita have a chance for prizes, and at Lago Film Fest - International, the jury will evaluate "The Vibrant Village" by Weronika Jurkiewicz.
