POLISH DOCUMENTARIES AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN JUNE

The global pandemic situation has significantly influenced the organization of film festivals. A large part of them will not take place, but several of the planned events have moved online and it is there that you will be able to see Polish documentaries.

At the end of May, the 60th edition of the Krakow Film Festival began. The event has been completely transferred to the web and it is the first initiative on such a large scale in Poland. Traditionally, the program did not lack Polish films, including documentaries. You can find more information on this here.

The Krakow Film Festival is not the only film event that takes place at the turn of May and June. Just before the end of the month the online version of the Canadian Hot Docs festival was launched. The rich program of the event did not lack Polish productions. In one of the competition sections there was "Fat Kathy" by Julia Pełka, and in this out of competition "Złota Street" by Tomasz Knittel.

June 10 will start the 43rd edition of the Norwegian Short Film Festival. "Family2" by Yifan Sun will compete for awards at this festival.
