Krakow Film Festival is not only a programme abounding in shows of Polish and foreign cinematography, diverse as far as topics, content and form of presented films are concerned. For several years, the Krakow event has been accompanied by film market, conferences and pitching forum.
This year’s edition of Krakow Film Festival will be broadened by additional events concerning the film branch. Apart from pitching, conducted within the frames of the Dragon Forum project, there will be workshops and a conference entitled Virtually Yours. Documentary Campus is co-organizer of the programme.

What is the Dragon Forum?Dragon Forum is the yearly workshop session, concerned with the documentary film, its production, marketing and promoting. The participants receive a graduate of the Dragon Forum diploma, while awards are prepared for the best projects. The pitching, taking place in Krakow (

Documentary Campus Masterschool 2010Documentary Campus Masterschool
2010 is one of the forms of Documentary Campus’s activity. The project consists of a series of workshop meetings, addressed to a group of European artists, producers and distributors of documentary films. The third part, which will take place in Krakow from
31st May to
4th June, will be devoted to promoting, distributing and marketing documentary films on an international scale. All
DC’s activities are intended for its participants. The conference organized together with Dragon Forum is opened to everyone.
Virtually Yours conferenceThe conference’s leading motif will be the influence of digitization of reality on the promotion and making of the documentary film. The lecturers together with the meeting participants will try to answer the question, to what extend the digital technologies influence the making and reception of the documentary, its circulation on the international film market, distribution. What are positive, and what are negative aspects of this phenomenon? Is there a possibility of controlling it?
