POLISH DOCS IN THESSALOLNIKI INT.DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL

A real feast of Pol­ish doc­u­ment­ary awaits the audi­ence of the 12th Thes­saloniki Inter­na­tional Doc­u­ment­ary Film Fest­ival. There are as much a 27 Pol­ish films sched­uled to be shown at the festival.

Dur­ing the fest­ival screen­ings, the view­ers will see a sur­vey of Pol­ish doc­u­ment­ary cinema, from the latest films (among oth­ers, Chemo by Paweł Łoziński, and Ams­ter­dam prize-​winner Six Weeks by Mar­cin Janos Kraw­czyk), through the selec­tion of films by one of the most inter­est­ing doc­u­ment­ary film-​maker — Andrzej Fidyk, to the ret­ro­spect­ive of legendary mas­ter­pieces made in 1960s and 1970s by Krzysztof Kieślowski. The pro­fes­sion­als vis­it­ing the Doc­u­ment­ary Film Mar­ket which accom­pan­ies the fest­ival, will see quite a lot of films (four­teen) in the video­lib­rary. The event will last till 21st March.
