“III. Remem­ber the Sab­bath day and keep it holy” – the third epis­ode of the cycle “Deca­logue after Decalogue” – is among the films qual­i­fied for the com­pet­i­tion of the old­est world tele­vi­sion pro­duc­tion fest­ival “Prix Italia”, which takes place this year in Turin.

Maciej Cuske’s film fol­lows the fam­ily pre­par­a­tions for upcom­ing First Com­mu­nion of Staś. Dur­ing the pre­par­a­tions, inter-​generational dif­fer­ences in out­look come to the sur­face and lead to the dia­logue about what is most import­ant in life. The dir­ector turned the cam­era on his own fam­ily and tried to show ordin­ary life and that fact that, des­pite dis­order, chaos and dis­agree­ments, it has sense.
