Aristoteles Workshop is a documentary film workshop, open to creative documentary filmmakers, DPs, editors and producers from Central and Eastern Europe. The programm is co-financed by the french-german channel ARTE. The courses are designed for young filmmakers with talent, passion, commitment, a voice of their own, and, above all, the ability to collaborate. The students are guided through each and every step of the documentary production. The workshop will also cover the latest High Definition TV technologies and techniques.

The main objectives of the Audiovisual Co-Production Forum Lau Haizetara are: to foster co-production amongst the European regions, to provide a meeting point for professionals in the sector (producers, distributors and commissioning editors) in order to foster synergies between their projects and also to favour the search for funding opportunities for projects co-produced amongst the European regions. The co-production forum includes a pitching sessions and an agenda of individual meetings in order to enable the discussion of the selected projects. Prior to the forum the selected projects are shown and analysed by professional experts at a two-day preparation workshop.

Documentary in Europe is a no-profit cultural association that aims to increase the value of the documentary culture, to highlight and promote it, in all its forms, with particular stress on Italian, European and International documentary. To achieve these purposes, the primary activities of the association are to organize the annual pitching forum and the match making sessions as well as meetings among the insiders of documentary world and to promote the documentary genre among a larger audience.

International Academy of the Document, being the main course of Dragon Forum, offers professional development of film project under the supervision of eminent documentary film makers and international experts as well as presentation of the project at the international forum for editors ordering  TV shows from television stations from all around the world. The main points of Dragon Forum include, among others, the scriptwriting session, production session and pitching in Krakow in the last week of May during the Krakow Film Festival. The course is intended for the film makers who have a well-developed idea for a documentary with an international potential.

Directors and independent producers offer their projects for co-production, pre-sales or any other form of financial support. The new event Feedback Round Tables offers an exceptional networking opportunity for the participants with a much smaller group of broadcasters in a more intimate setting.

Ex Oriente Film is an international workshop dedicated to the development and funding of creative documentary films in Central and Eastern Europe. At three residential workshops, participating directors work to develop the subject, narrative and the visual style of their projects, while producers learn more about the best ways to engage potential funders, and about the rules of the international market. Lectures and seminars on legal and financial issues in documentary filmmaking are an important feature throughout the programme. Ex Oriente Film culminates in the final pitching sessions of East European creative projects at the East European Forum.
