KREDENS

After his arrival in Wrocław Jacob Dammas (a Dane, whose mother is Polish) visits the place where his mother was living with her father, before their exile connected with her Jewish origin at the end of 1960s. He is talking to her former neighbors, he is directed to yet another address to find an old-time family memento - the cupboard, mentioned in the title.

Jacob Dammas »

Born in 1979 in Copenhagen. He is a graduate of Communications and Cultural Studies at Roskilde Universitetscenter (Denmark) and a documentary film course at the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing (2005). He cooperates with the Copehagen Television. An author of documentaries (Dannish production): "ABCinema" (2000), "Ernie, the hotdog man" (2001), "Pis og Pant" (2002), "Documents" (2004), "Simonstilstand" (2005). "Pomorskie iluzje" is his third film.
