More than 300 youngsters apply for a first ever casting call in Poland targeted to nonbinary and trans people. They are auditioning for the role of a trans boy in one of Netflix's feature films. Their biggest dream is to become a movie superstar, but it soon turns out that much more serious challenges await them. In a mosaic film form, we accompany them in their daily struggle.

"We Are Perfect" is a universal, tender story about people who are tired of being excluded and invisible. It’s a story about a new generation of self-aware Poles who refuse to live in a simplistic scheme where there is only what is feminine and masculine.
