I AM A PARAGUAYAN

POLISH TITLE: SOY PARAGUAYO

Paraguay is a country where a broad variety of ethnic groups live. There are —for example— the different indigenous groups, the Mennonite settlers, the European immigrants from the beginnings of XXth century or Brazilians arrived in more recent times. The documentary "I am a Paraguayan" collects personal stories of 32 women and men, from which emerges a complex mosaic of Paraguayan reality nowadays. In the same way the most essential problems of the country come out, and those are: the very unequal land distribution, the unbridled deforestation process, the wide use of agrochemical products for the transgenic soybean farming and the disengagement between different cultures.
