POLISH TITLE: WYTRWAŁOŚĆ

Ben Barenholtz is an eminent producer who assisted at the birth of independent cinema in New York and became famous, among others, due to his collaboration with David Lynch and the Coen brothers. Ben is also the child of the Holocaust. After many years, together with his brother, he travels back to Volyn, where the painful World War II memories of his family story come flooding back. “I do not want to be yet another story of a Holocaust survivor”, says Ben, not with the intention of cutting himself off from the past but in order to express the overwhelming need of survival.
